Lauren Ash-Morgan is an actress and member of SSC's board of directors since 2011, is the Co-Artistic Director Founding of the newly formed theater company Speech of Fire. She served as Artistic director of Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 until 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she also served as SSC's costume designer, producer music director, composer and coach for text. While she was usually the leader of the ensemble of actors at the end of her time, she was able to make her debut as a director (and the lighting design) for SSC's King Lear.
