Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He blends jazz from the soul genre with R&B to create a unique mixture. Avery Sunshine has performed on Broadway and in festivals throughout Europe. She has also performed at her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine, whose given name was Denise White. While she now lives in Atlanta her birthplace was Chester Pennsylvania. Her musical journey began in the church, where she sang as well as was a pianist. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she started her journey in music on Atlanta's R&B culture. The Fighting Temptations The first single to feature her vocals was Stalk You a house 12 issued only in Japan and was later remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay of her live set. The Fighting Temptations was the other soundtrack she sang on. In 2005, she was employed as the lead keyboardist for Tyler Perry's stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls, the theatre production of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine was noticed by America during the daily performances of four at 2008's Democratic National Convention. Sunshine was later asked to sing in the presence of President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
