Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed less than 3 pounds. She remained in ICU for one month. She was told by her parents at Christmas that this Day would be the day she needed heart surgery. Her parents went to the hospital for a visit on Christmas Day, they were advised by the doctor that her heart was closed. Ashley has never required any kind of operation. After two months in hospital, she was only 4 1/2 pounds when released. Seit then she is healthy! Her father is of English as well as German ethnic heritage. Her mother is Irish. Her acting debut was as Barbie Doll in the commercial for Salon Surprise in 2002. Ashley was first approached by Ford Modeling Agency when she turned eight. Ashley has worked steadily with the Ford Modeling Agency for a number of years. She aspired to be an actor from the age of 10. Ashley did 35 commercials before becoming a stage actor. Ashley discovered her love for acting. Ashley concentrated all of her time on her acting. This left very less time to model as well as dancing. Ashley's most recent role is "Hanna Marin" on ABC Family's Pretty Little Liars (2010). Ashley has also appeared on Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) as well as Solange's music video for her track "True the Love". Britney Spears acted as her co-star in a Vogue Magazine photoshoot. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
